Charts Printed on Synaps Paper

The following charts are printed on durable synthetic paper:

What is Synaps Paper?

Synaps is a synthetic paper of a new generation, based on a high-grade polyester substrate with a high-performance printable topcoat. It combines the physical qualities of a polyester film with the ‘look and feel’ of a luxury paper. learn more about this paper …

Why did I want to use synaps paper?

I have put so much importance into the visual exploration into reflexology with these charts and wanted reflexologists to be able to hand these chart to their clients so that they can explore reflexology without needing to know anything

Follow these guidelines below to ensure that your charts can be used for many years to come.

*Warning* DO NOT Laminate these charts if you do you will melt the chart and it will be destroyed. I often get asked if your charts need laminating for protection. The answer is NO. Keep these Charts safe & clean – One of the best things about these charts is that they are so visual, they need to be handed to clients for their exploration. Over time these charts may get a little dirty from the natural grease that is found on our hands so a clean might be in order. Also with the recent concern with the transmission of viruses, you might not want to hand these charts to your clients but the good news is that these charts can be cleaned, making them safe for handling. To clean these charts please use soap and warm water. See the video below to see how to do this.

Storage – It is best to keep these charts standing upright or lying flat and do not like to be folded. Keep out of the direct sun. You want to store these charts the same way you would take care of your favorite book but these charts are even more durable than the book but if you treat them gently they will last just that much longer.

How to Look After Your Large Charts

Large Charts – Materials & Care

Our Large-format reflexology charts have been produced using different materials over time as printing technology has evolved.

Why They’re Different

  • The Large Hand Reflexology Chart was produced earlier and is professionally laminated to provide durability at the time of printing. Check it out: BT’s FOOT CHART – Large

  • The Large Foot Reflexology Chart (3rd Edition, 2025) was updated using newer printing technology and is printed on heavyweight indoor/outdoor latex-saturated paper that is tear-resistant and water-resistant — no lamination needed. Check it out: BT’s HAND CHART – Large

Both charts are designed to be durable and long-lasting when cared for properly.

Cleaning & Care (Large Charts)

  • Wipe gently with warm water

  • Use a soft cloth

  • Add a small amount of mild dish soap if needed

  • Dry with a towel or allow to air-dry

  • Avoid abrasive cleaners

Important Notes

  • Do not laminate the Large Foot Reflexology Chart — lamination is unnecessary and may damage the paper.

  • Do not re-laminate the Large Hand Reflexology Chart.
